____________________________________________

THE RULES

1.) All bidding must start at or above the *Minimum Bid* stated for each item! No bids for less than minimum will be accepted.

2.) Please keep all bidding increments to at least $1 (US) higher per bid. No bid increases of less than $1 (US) will be counted as legitimate. All bids must be made in US Dollars Only. **Please keep all bids to even dollar amount increments.**

3.) Each bidder will be assigned an "Auction Handle" (code name), to protect the privacy of the bidder. You will receive a post assigning you a code name after you place your first bid. All item/bid updates will be posted using code names only. Please include the code name assigned to you when sending in new bids. Also, please include the Item Numbers and a short description (for added clarity), of whatever you are bidding on.

4.) To Bid, please send all bids via email to: skippery@sbcglobal.net Beth will be our auctioneer.

PLEASE NOTE: Only bids sent to the destination stated above will be counted! Bids sent to any List or any other person will be disregarded. You MUST send your bids to the auctioneer for them to be officially counted!

5a.) If multiple bidders place the same High Bid on the same single item, the FIRST like bid received that day by the auctioneer will be considered the top bid and will be indicated as such by the Initials: TBLB -- which will stand for "Top Bidder amongst Like Bids."

5b.) If the item being offered is part of a multiple lot, then the top bidders/bids -- equal to the number of items available in the lot - will be indicated. The same rules about bidding mentioned in 5a. will apply. In order to raise the most we can for this fund raiser, multiple items will *not* be handled on a "Dutch Auction" basis. The amount of each individual high bid made (equal to the number of items offered), will stand. Example: If there are three of the same items, and the high bidders have bid $9.00, $7.00, and $3.00 -- each bidder will be expected to pay the exact amount of their last individual high bid. (i.e. bidder #1 will pay $9.00, bidder #2 will pay $7.00, and bidder #3 will pay $3.00)

6.) All bids and payments must be made in US Funds only. Please contact Beth at: skippery@sbcglobal.net if you have questions about foreign payment methods. We will accept checks & money orders (in US Funds Only). Items will not be shipped until checks clear. Money orders & PayPal payments will result in fastest shipping. This auction WILL accept credit card payments through PayPal (which now includes international credit card payments). For more information or to register for this service, please visit:
www.paypal.com

PLEASE NOTE: Buyers who wish to make payment through PayPal will be subject to an additional 3.5% "convenience charge" -- added to the amount of their winning bids. This is the Use Fee that PayPal automatically levies against the auction for every payment made to us through their service. We apologize for having to add this fee, but we do so to help us defray the additional cost PayPal will levy against the auction for the use of this convenience. Thank you for your understanding!

7.) The CarnyCon LIVE Online Auction will BEGIN at 9 a.m. (Eastern time) on Monday, October 3rd, 2005, and will END at 7 p.m. (Eastern time) on Friday, October 14th, 2005. New high bids will be updated daily by 7:00 pm Eastern time. All FINAL winning bids will be announced/posted by the morning of Saturday, October 15th, 2005.

8.) Winners of each item will be officially contacted by e-mail to confirm. If payment is not made by the arranged time, the item will then be offered to the next highest bidder.

9.) POSTAGE -- Due to the variety of weights, sizes and shipping options, winners will be notified via email of their choices of shipping, and amount of postage and insurance for their winning item(s).

10.) The CarnyCon LIVE Online Auction is NOT responsible for the vagaries of the Internet. We will not be held responsible for lost bids, computer crashes, web site unavailability, bids sent to the wrong address, etc. All decisions made by the Auctioneer concerning bids will be final.

11.) All payments for items must be received by Tuesday, November 2nd, 2005, unless other arrangements have been made. All Payments must be made to CarnyCon, PO Box 8655, Benton Harbor MI 49023

12.) We would highly recommend that bidders DO NOT attempt the Ebay bidding strategy of waiting till the very last minute of the auction to try to "snipe" or outbid a fellow bidder. Because these bids are going through a personal email account and not an internally computerized business system like Ebay, there is a possibility any last minute bids will not get through to the auctioneer before the auction deadline has passed. The auction is over when the clock on the Auctioneer's computer says 7:00 pm Eastern time on Friday, October 14th. The Auctioneer has no choice but to go by the times listed on each bid by the Auctioneer's internet provider. Be safe rather than sorry. Don't wait till the last possible minute to bid, and please consider the use of proxy bidding.

PLEASE NOTE: The Auctioneer and the CarnyCon Live Auction reserve the right to reject any and all bids, winning or otherwise, from bidders who have bounced checks or failed to make good on payments they have committed to with us in the past. The Auctioneer and the CarnyCon Live Auction also reserve the right to reject any and all bids, winning or otherwise, from anyone attempting to defraud or disrupt this auction in any way.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Beth at: skippery@sbcglobal.net

A word about PROXY BIDDING

We WILL be accepting "Proxy Bids." This means, you will be able to tell us the highest amount you are willing to go on an item, and we will continue to raise the bid *on your behalf* until that limit is reached.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU *WILL BE* HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WINNING BID AMOUNT BY PROXY, SHOULD YOU WIN AN ITEM, EVEN IF IT IS UP TO THE FULL AMOUNT OF YOUR PROXY BID!

YOU MUST LET THE AUCTIONEER KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BIDDING "BY PROXY" -- or else your well-over-the-minimum bid may be considered your first bid. If a Bid is a PROXY Bid, please mark it as such. Thanks!

A Proxy Bid will be just as legally binding as any other bid. Bid by Proxy only the highest amount you are willing to pay for any item. You may RAISE your proxy bid throughout the course of the auction, but you will NOT be allowed to LOWER it. So please Proxy Bid carefully.

Rules for receiving like bids will still apply. If more than one person bids the same amount by Proxy, the first person to get their Proxy Bid in will be considered the High Bidder. All parties with matching Proxy Bids will be notified.

There will be a SLIDING SCALE for Proxy Bidding as to the amount a bid will be "upped" by Proxy. (See SCALE below)

ALL BIDS ON ITEMS WHOSE HIGH BIDS STAND AT $2.00 TO $24.00 WILL BE UPPED BY $1.00, VIA PROXY.

ALL BIDS ON ITEMS WHOSE HIGH BIDS STAND BETWEEN $25.00 and $99.00 WILL BE UPPED BY $5.00, VIA PROXY.

ALL BIDS ON ITEMS WHOSE HIGH BIDS STAND OVER $100.00 WILL BE UPPED BY $10.00, VIA PROXY.

EXAMPLE: Item A. has a high bid of $50.00, and YOU bid $75.00 by Proxy. This would up the high bid by $5.00 to $55.00. If someone else then bids $60.00, your bid would automatically go to $65.00, and so on, until you reach the limit of your Proxy Bid or prevail.

ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT PROXY BIDDING SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO OUR AUCTIONEER, BETH, AT: skippery@sbcglobal.net

We hope this decision to accept Proxy Bids will make this auction experience even more fun & convenient for YOU!!!

Please note: Many of these items were purchased by members of the cast & crew at the "Carnivale" prop sale, and have been very generously donated to this auction to help us bring you the best CarnyCon possible. Item #147.(Donated by Clancy Brown) Little Girl in the Woods Art Print from the Crowe House. Purchased from the Carnivale Prop Sale, Clancy says this creepy piece of art is "one of Brother Justin's favorites." And we can see why! The art is approximately 12 x 15 inches and is set off by a rustic antique frame. This piece of art can be clearly seen in the Crowe house, usually in the dining room scenes.
